Who I am

I graduated with a diploma from the Newark School of Violin Making (NSVM) in England in 1988.

In the following twelve years, I worked as a violin maker and restorer in the Netherlands and Germany in the master workshops of Joost van der Grinten (Amersfoort), Peter Körner (Mainz) and Gerriet Groth (Wiesbaden).

In early 2001 I moved to Melbourne, Australia, where I established my own violin making and repair workshop.

In recent years I have increasingly focused on the construction of new violins, violas and cellos.

I am a founding member of the Australian Violin Makers Association (AVMA).
